Meet Our Trainers

Just listen to what other satisfied dog owners have to say about their Just Dogs Training Center training:

Ms. Connie Saurbier
Ms. Connie Saurbier states "Through the gentle effective, and very patient, tutelage of Gina, my trainer, I learned to be calm with my young adolescent dog, to be consistent with my requests or commands, and to never stop until there is compliance. I also learned that giving a young dog "time outs" was a huge help for me, rather than getting so frustrated. Now if I need a break, I can place Banya in her kennel or just in a "Place Stay", give her a nice bone or treat, and use that time to relax myself. I find that my patience has increased, my neighbors now compliment me on my dog's behavior as we walk through the neighborhood and I'm a much happier dog owner."

Jay Morsman
Jay Morsman writes "Before Gina started to train with September (my Saint Bernard) and myself, I had been told that my dog was aggressive. Some people suggested he should be put down. Gina came over and did an evaluation. She stated that September was a normal confident pushy adolescent who was not biting aggressively, but mouthing. As he was a "teenager" his teeth were much stronger than a puppy's. Gina taught me to be more consistent with my commands, to be much more patient rather than raising my tone due to frustration, and taught both of us how to enjoy life together. September had a short life, due to hereditary illness and I still miss him dreadfully. But thanks to the care of Gina, I had two wonderful years with him!"

Fran Mudge

Maggie, my one year old Goden Retriever, formerly nicknamed "Marley" for her wild out-of-control behavior helped save a friend's dog after training with Gina and her staff.  While walking with another Golden and owner at the beach, we noticed the other Golden was racing out to open water.  This dog had no intention of coming back as called and was too far away for us to catch her.  As the owner and I were frantically calling the dog, Maggie was observing the two of us.
After she had watched us intently, but quickly, Maggie went running after the dog.  She then herded the dog all the way back to shore, much to the amazement and gratitude of all concerned.  Maggie was certainly our "hero" for the day!  We were amazed that our non-herding breed could "retrieve" another dog back to the owner.  With all of Maggie's adolescent enthusiastic behaviors, we realized that day we had a very special girl!
